Product detailed description

Properties:

- Efficient application flow – one-coat primer, one-coat adhesive, one light curing; wet or dry preparations

- High radiopacity, making X-ray detection easy

- Availability in bottle and Unidose delivery

- Proven long-term performance

- OptiBond FL Adhesive is 48% filled with 0.6 microns barium glass, is fluoride releasing and is radiopaque.

- This unique technology provides the highest level of protection against microleakage, while sustaining high bond strengths to a variety of surfaces.

- The filled adhesive provides a true “structural bond” not found in unfilled adhesive systems.

- With OptiBond FL, adhesion promoters are carried in an ethanol solvent, diminishing the need for multiple coats.

Method of use:

1. Isolate prep and dry.

2. Place Kerr Gel Etchant with 37.5% phosphoric acid on enamel and dentin for 15 seconds.

Rinse with water until etchant has been completely removed – approximately 15 seconds.

Gently air dry for a few seconds being careful not to dessicate dentin.

3. Dispense OptiBond FL Prime (Bottle 1) into disposable mixing well.

Apply material over enamel and dentin surfaces with a light scrubbing motion for 15 seconds.

Gently air dry for approximately 5 seconds. At this point the dentin surface should have a slightly shiny appearance.

Do not allow salivary contamination.

4. Dispense and apply OptiBond FL Adhesive (Bottle 2) over enamel and dentin uniformly creating a thin coating.

Blow to margin or to thin if necessary using a light application of air.

5. Light cure.

6. Proceed with composite placement.
